Plugins

Plugins are integrations that allow you to create shortcuts for third-party apps.

Installing Plugins

To extend UL’s functionality, you’ll need to install plugins for the apps you want to integrate with. Each plugin adds new shortcut capabilities specific to that application.

The fastest way to install one is right from the command bar:

  1. Open your UL Launcher (⌘ + Space on Mac, Ctrl + Space on Windows)
  2. Type install followed by the plugin name, for example install slack
  3. Hit Return and follow the steps on the plugin’s page

You can also browse and install plugins from the Plugins page inside the app.

Authorization

When installing a plugin, you may need to authenticate with the third-party app. This happens in one of two ways:

  1. OAuth Flow: You’ll be redirected to the app’s sign-in page to grant UL permission
  2. API Key: You’ll need to provide a personal access token or API key

Note: You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the plugin.
